Connect Four Challenges - Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives and Adverbs - Set One

A set of ten challenges, focussing on different word classes - nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. Each challenge has a total of 42 words.

This resource can be used with a Connect Four game. The children use the key to see which word class represents the red counters, and which represent the yellow counters. Once completed, the children can then get the answer sheet to self-mark their work.

Alternatively, children could colour in the answers yellow or red if they don't have access to Connect Four.
